Mission Federal Credit Union and Clear Channel Radio Launch "Mission Possible Charity Challenge"

The Mission Possible Charity Challenge allows San Diego County nonprofit organizations a chance to win a $5,000 donation.

The nomination period is from February 14, 2012 to February 29, 2012 (Santee Santas has already been nominated), and the voting period is from March 1, 2012 to March 28, 2012. Please make a note on your calendar ~ and tell your friends to vote as well!  For the past 58 years, the Santee Santas Foundation volunteers have made the Christmas Holiday Season special for thousands of Santee families for whom the season was a most difficult one. The need today is greater than ever. Please take a moment and vote for the Santee Santas in March. Thank you!

Santee Santas volunteers provided assistance to 246 families (including 405 children) during the 2011 Holiday Season! We received a number of ‘thank you’ letters from both volunteers and program recipients and you can view those comments here.

On January 18, 2012, the Santee Santas Foundation was presented a check for $1000.00 by the proprietors of the newly opened Santee Fresh and Easy Neighborhood Market as part of their grand opening ceremony. To read more about this event, click here.

And now . . . Welcome to the online home of the Santee Santas.

The Santee Santas Foundation is a local non-profit 501(c)(3) registered organization, providing year round help to members of our community living within the Santee School District and in need of assistance.

Santee Santas' signature effort is an annual holiday children's toy and food program focused on bringing the Christmas spirit to some 300 families in our community. Our senior outreach program ensures seniors in our community who are living alone or in senior care facilities are not forgotten over the holidays. We provide emergency funds to families in need at any time of the year.

The volunteers of Santee Santas have brought the Spirit of Christmas to the people of Santee for the past 58 years.

Santee Santas is an all-volunteer organization, with school district employees, City of Santee staff, firefighters, local businesses, service organizations, mobile home parks and local citizens working together to make each year's endeavors successful. There are minimal administrative costs; all donations are tax deductible and all donations are used to assist families and seniors in need of help.

Volunteers from Santee Santas are available for presentations to your service group, church or PTA to explain what we do and how we do it . . .
